HOTEL

  1. What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3pm to 6pm and check-out is from 11am to 1pm. Early check-in or late check-out fees will apply.
  2. What are your retail hours?
We open daily from 10am to 7pm including public holidays.
  3. What happens to my dog after retail hours?
We have a caretaker on duty at the hotel until 9pm. The next caretaker will come in at 8am. During the hours when there are no caretakers at the hotel, there will be a staff monitoring the 24-hour CCTV at regular intervals.
  4. Do you provide bedding, toys, dishes and food for my dog?
We advise owners to bring along their pets’ own bedding, toys, dishes, food, and other daily necessities to help them settle in faster into the new environment. Having familiar items around will calm them down and make them feel at home. If these cannot be arranged, we do sell a variety of bedding, toys, dishes, and food in our shop.
  5. Will my dog have to share a room with other dogs?
When you book a room with us, it is exclusive to your pet only. However, if you have multiple pets, you can choose to have them stay in the same room for an additional charge. Please call to enquire.
  6. Will my dog interact with other dogs?
We do not allow guests to interact with each other unless they are from the same household and only with the owner’s permission. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests.
  7. What if my dog has long hair that requires daily grooming?
If owners require their pets to be groomed regularly, we are happy to schedule grooming sessions at an additional charge. Please call to enquire.
  8. Can I visit my dog during their stay?
We welcome owners to visit their pets as they are always happy to see their owners. Owners can also appoint other family members and friends to visit their pets but this must be advised at check-in. We will not allow unauthorised visitors into our hotel.
Our visiting hours are from 11am to 7pm daily including public holidays. For after hours, we do offer 24-hour live CCTV access on a mobile app at $8 per day or a bundle rate of $68 for the entire stay. Our CCTV system is equipped with infrared cameras so owners can still see their pets after lights out.
  9. Do you have a loyalty or rewards program?
We give a 10% discount off the total hotel bill when you book a minimum of 10 consecutive nights. We also offer 15% for stays above 20 nights.
  10. How are the house rules?
    • Check-in is from 3pm to 6pm and check-out is from 11am to 1pm. Early check-in or late check-out fees will apply.
    • Guests will need to go through a flea and tick assessment prior to check-in.
    • Pet owners must provide proof of vaccination and dog license for every guest checking in.
    • Guests have to be clean and odourless prior to check-in. They can be showered at home or at the hotel for a fee. Please refer to our grooming rates.

    • For the safety and comfort of all guests, room sharing is only available for guests from the same household.
    • Please call to enquire before booking if your dog has an unusual temperament.

SALON

  1. If I am not booking a room, can I still send my pet for grooming?
Besides the hotel and shop, we also run a salon at Dear Mutt. We use only organic products and even add a soothing massage to help them relax. For the ultimate indulgence, we also offer a luxurious mud spa treatment. As a bonus, all pets get to check in to one of our rooms while waiting to be picked up. Please call to make an appointment.
  2. I like a particular haircut for my pet, can your salon accommodate my preference?
As fellow pet owners, we know how much pet owners like to pamper their furry pals. If you prefer a specific hairstyle for your pet, please inform us at the time of booking and we will accommodate your preference. If you like, you can bring us a photo for reference.
  3. Can I bring my own shampoo and conditioner for grooming sessions?
The products we use at our salon are certified organic and hypoallergenic. They are mild enough even for sensitive skin. However, if your pet is used to a particular brand of products, you are most welcome to bring them along for their grooming sessions. Please inform us at the time of booking and we will accommodate your preference. Do note that the usual grooming charges will still apply.
  4. My pet is not sociable, will it have to interact with other dogs at the salon?
For the safety and comfort of all furry pals that come through our door, we do not allow interactions between dogs unless they are from the same household and only with the permission of the owner. Rest assured that your pet will be safe and happy while they are in our salon.
  5. Will my pet be in danger of catching fleas or ticks at the salon?
We maintain a stringent level of cleanliness in our salon and all pets will need to go through a flea and tick assessment prior to their grooming session. We regret to inform you that we will reject pets that fail this assessment. This is to ensure all our furry pals leave our salon happy and clean.
